10.10.03 | "Mexican" Food

We went out with some of Claudine's co-workers for dinner tonight. Her boss had picked a "Mexican" place. Claudine and I just don't get it. If I were to take what is called "Mexican" food here and try and pass it off in California, I'd get beat up. Hmm, no, probably not beat up. Just sued.

For a lack of anything else interesting on the menu, I ordered chicken fajitas. The plate contained two tortillas, a few avocado slices and a grilled chicken breast with some onions on top. That's it. No peppers, salsa, sour cream or tomatoes. In fact, the restaurant didn't even offer salsa.

While I don't advocate bringing Taco (Sm)ell to the UK, something like Baja Fresh would be quite welcome. << REWIND
